Founded in 1867, Penistone Cricket Club (PCC) is a cricket club based in Penistone, South Yorkshire. The club has teams in all age groups and runs the ECB initiatives, All Stars and Dynamos.
Seeking to establish their very first website, PCC partnered with ALCM Design to design and develop their website.
Partnering with ALCM Design has been a game-changer for Penistone Cricket Club. With their expertise, we now have our very own website which we can easily manage and keep up to date.
We designed a brand-new website for PCC, allowing them to share club updates, team information, news and more. We also integrated the website with Play-Cricket to bring in a feed of upcoming match fixtures and match results. All data is pulled through automatically - meaning there’s no manual updates necessary!
We also injected some fun and entertainment into the website by developing an interactive cricket game to boost user engagement and enjoyment.
The website is built on Umbraco CMS which allows the team at PCC to manage and edit all website content, including news, team profiles, contact information and more.
As with all of our websites, the site is fully optimised for phones and tablets, giving an engaging user experience across all devices.
ALCM suggested integrating our website with Play-Cricket, which means we have a feed of upcoming matches and match results without us having to make any updates. The team also created an interactive online cricket game which has been a hit with our younger players!
